Dress Code Policy 

Dance Studio 150 Dress Code:

1. Hair

• Hair must be pulled back into a secure bun.

• If you have short hair, please bobby-pin it away from your face.

2. Jewelry

• No jewelry is allowed in class (including smartwatches).

• Small stud earrings are the only exception.

3. Required Uniform

• Dancers must wear Dance Studio 150 uniforms to all ballet classes. To warm up. Dancers may purchase warm-up jackets and leg warmers from dancewear stores.

• For non-ballet classes, dancers may wear biker shorts, tank tops, or leggings.

• T-shirts (of any kind), Nike/gym shorts, cargo pants, or baggy sweats are not allowed.

4. Leotards and Underwear

• Dancers should not wear underwear under their leotards according to the worldwide ballet protocol.

5. Shoes

• Dance shoes must not be worn outside to protect studio floors.

6. Dance Bag

• All dance shoes, attire, and personal belongings should be in a dance bag labeled with the dancer’s name.

7. Presentation

• Students must come to class neatly dressed and prepared, with all required dance attire, shoes, and tights.

8. Additional Requirements

• Instructors may provide any further dress code details as needed.
